Are vehicle wraps tax deductible?
In most cases, yes. A vehicle wrap is advertising, and businesses can generally deduct ordinary and necessary advertising costs, including design, printing and installation. Your accountant decides exactly how and when to deduct it for your business.
What usually counts
The design, printing and installation of the wrap, and later repairs or removal.
What a wrap doesn't change
Wrapping a vehicle doesn't make personal miles deductible. Keep tracking business and personal use as usual.
Why year-end is a good time to wrap
If you're adding vehicles before December 31, wrap them at the same time so they're advertising from the first day. Ask your accountant which tax year the costs fall in. Our December schedule fills up, so book early.
